Load-chart & stability considerations
Scissor lifts have a fixed, relatively wide footprint and are only rated for use on firm, level ground within the manufacturer's stated gradient tolerance — unlike a boom lift there's no outreach to manage, but base tilt-out and wheel-load on soft or uneven floors (a real risk in half-finished warehouse floors) is the main stability concern. We train operators to check floor loading and levelness before elevating, and to understand why wind and outreach limits don't apply the way they do to booms, but ground condition limits still do.
